Help Me Through Inspiration

As summer is coming soon I am starting to get my summer wardrobe back out adding some more pieces as I go along in preparation for the season. There are so many different styles this summer from 50s inspired midi skirts, to high waisted distressed shorts, to boho, to 70s inspired looks, etc. and here is some images of where I get my inspiration from.

Products I regret buying

While cleaning my make up storage I came across a product I was was so excited to use but very disappointed about when I finally did get it.

The product I'm talking about is Benefits You Rebel Lite, I heard such good things about this around last summer and since I had been going through a tinted moisturizer stage I decided to try it out at a counter. I wasn't sure about this product so I did test it out a couple of times before I brought it and had no problems with it, so I decided to buy it. As soon as I got home thats where it started to all go wrong.
I opened the product and the smell was the first thing that hit me and not even in a nice way. As soon as i put it on my face all I could smell was dead flowers (I know weird) which really was putting me off. Then the colour was next, I went with the lite colour due to my very light skin, but as soon as I looked at the product it was this light yellow colour strangely but I kept an open mind and blended it in. The finish is not what I expected too, as I have oily skin I avoid oily products at any cost and this product left a matte finish but if the skin was touched it was a sticky wet feeling which finally pushed me over. I've tested this product out a number of times but get the same finish each time even when powdered underneith. As a result this product is pushed to the back of my make up storage just to be ignored and wasted.
I am not saying this is a bad product and not to buy it but just it didn't work for me at all and I could have spend my time with another product which work well for me and my oily skin.

OOTD (Outfit of the Day)

Today I headed to St Pauls Square in Birmingham to visit my brother and girlfriends new apartment. As England is surprisingly still having great weather and as we would be spending the day on a walk and in a beer garden, I decided to dress as if it was casual summer (weird wording I know.)
Top - New Look
Shorts - New Look
Belt - New Look
Hat - New Look
Also I drew a heart on my wrist today as it's Self Harm and Depression day for support.
P.S I just have to note that I had a Lion bar and though that this bar was extreemly large for a king size bar.

Collective Haul

I started this post about a week ago but got distracted by the amount of work I have had to do and by the title you can tell its a haul. Since I started this blog I have been out again a couple of times and picked up some more good stuff; keeping in mind I'm completely not meant to be spending anything at all for 6 months, I'd say my task is failing.

First I headed over to New Look..

blue jumper £8
Copper jumper £12
Oversized hat £10

Then from boots

Then from amazon I ordered a couple of other things too...

I feel WICKED!

On Wednesday I got to London with two of my friends for the day to do some shopping, tourist stuff for the Royal Wedding coming up and the main reason, to see WICKED on the West End.

First we headed straight to Big Ben to head to the Queens Park next to Parliament, with food in hand we spent about an hour with a picnic as England has been having really hot weather lately.
A bit of sun and the whole of England strip!
Then we headed over to The Abbey and Buckingham Palace too see some of the preparations and I can tell you every person I know except for one or two people aren't interested in the Royal Wedding at all, me being one of them. But looking at some of the decorations that are already being put up makes me even more patriotic and want to watch the wedding.
Then we headed over to see WICKED! All I knew about this show was it was the untold story of the Wicked Witch of the west and little bit about her from the Wizard of Oz and how she was actually misunderstood. And I have to say this this the BEST show I have ever seen! I was amazed at how WICKED fit in so well with Wizard of Oz and how the story unraveled and you become so attached to the character Elphaba (The witch). One main aspect which made the show that much more wonderful was Rachel Tucker, she played Elphaba and has already been seen on the BBC's I'd do anything to reach the Semi-finals. She has been said to be one of the best witches they have had since the original witch Idina Menzel.
If I could I would see this show over and over, if it was the only show I could see for the rest of my life, (a big statement I know!)
After this experience we headed over to Oxford Street to have dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Yes this is a place for young kids but the last time I went to one I was 5 and in Florida, this would be a whole different experience.
